The vanilla equipment is a little.unattractive to me.Ī perfect example of why I have an issue with vanilla is elven and glass armor. Seems anything I can find is only for women and is kinda skimpy (understating). That shows a little stomach or something on women is okay (preferably only for light armor), but Im not looking for bikini bottoms or anything that just more or less just covers the thighs. This can be achieved by using enchanted items andor blacksmithing potions to Fortify Smithing.
This means armor cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This makes the set less desirable to craft, minus the shield, for which there is no leather variant. The most basic form of light armor, both in cost and protection, Hide Armor is very common and can be found throughout Skyrim from the beginning of the game.
